Description
King Bolete- our Polish dried mushrooms, sliced and sealed in an airtight jar. The net weight of the dried mushrooms is 50g.
King Bolete
King Bolete, also known as the popular "porcini" mushrooms. A mushroom species that is by far the most popular in our country. Sought after by virtually everyone- both beginners and advanced mushroom pickers :) It is considered the tastiest and most nutrient-rich type of mushroom found in Polish forests.
King bolete- health properties
King bolete has a high water content- thanks to this, it has a low calorie count (50-70 kcal/100 g). Furthermore, king bolete possesses many significant health properties for our body:
- It is a rich source of protein (28-33g /100g of dried product), phosphorus, magnesium, potassium and iron, as well as vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C.
- In the fruiting bodies of the bolete, scientists have found the presence of 8 essential amino acids.
- It also contains carbohydrates and minerals.
- It is a source of healthy fats- about 30% of the total fat content in the bolete's fruiting bodies consists of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Why do we offer our mushrooms in a tightly sealed jar?
To ensure that dried mushrooms do not lose their intense aroma, they should be sealed in an airtight container. The choice of container in which we store dried mushrooms is very important. It should be metal, glass, or enamelled. This will also prevent food moths from infesting and allow the mushrooms' flavour values to be preserved for as long as possible.
Therefore, our airtight glass jars are well-suited for storing dried mushrooms. The jar of dried mushrooms should be placed in a dark and dry place, preferably at room temperature. Moisture, high temperature, air and light cause dried mushrooms to lose their taste and aroma. It is not recommended to store dried mushrooms in paper or plastic bags. They will quickly lose their flavour and may go mouldy.
The dried mushrooms with a net weight of 50g are placed in an 815 ml jar. Due to differences in the volume of the dried product and to ensure that the mushroom retains its form and does not break when placed in the jar or during transport, there may be excessive space in the packaging, which of course does not affect the net content of the product.
Dried mushrooms - certified and checked by a certified mushroom expert.
By purchasing our mushrooms, you can be sure of their origin and that they have been properly chosen and selected. Our mushrooms are marked with a certificate and the number of a certified mushroom expert. This allows you to enjoy the health and flavour benefits of our mushrooms with peace of mind.
The drying temperature of the mushrooms is approx. 45 deg. C.
