How to care for beeswax candles?
To ensure your candle lasts as long as possible and burns without smoking, remember two simple rules:
- Short wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to a length of approx. 0,5 cm. This will ensure the flame is stable and „clean”.
- Safe extinguishing: Instead of blowing out the candle, cut off the oxygen supply (e.g. by covering it with a lid). This prevents smoking when extinguishing and protects the wax from impurities.
