Breakfast with honey
Dear Customers, honey is increasingly being recognised and used as a natural boost for our immunity. Especially during recent pandemic times. We would like to share with you our ways of introducing honey into the daily meal that is breakfast. We invite you for a dose of healthy inspiration to strengthen your body. 1. Pancakes with honey
Ingredients:
1 and 1/4 cups flour
1 egg
1 and 1/4 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup icing sugar
1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/4 cup vegetable oil
pinch of salt
How to prepare pancakes with honey?
In a blender, mix all ingredients into a smooth mass with the consistency of thick cream. Heat the pan and fry the pancakes on both sides over medium heat. Serve with your favourite honey. We especially recommend light honeys such as bean honey, lime honey, acacia honey or dandelion honey.
2. Oatmeal with honey and bee pollen
Ingredients:
1 cup natural yoghurt
4 tablespoons oats
½ nectarine
½ apple
¼ pear
4 raspberries
2 teaspoons lime honey
1 teaspoon bee pollen
How to prepare oatmeal with honey and pollen?
Finely dice the fruit into cubes or strips. Pour the yoghurt into a bowl, add the oats, arrange the fruit, and add the bee pollen. Drizzle generously with lime honey.
3. Rustic bread with honey and curd cheese
Or perhaps a honey sandwich? A fresh rustic loaf of bread and juicy curd cheese are the perfect combination with natural honey.
Ingredients:
Rustic bread,
Semi-skimmed curd cheese
Butter
4. Granola with honey

Ingredients:
3 cups oats
1 cup shelled pistachios
½ cup of multifloral or rapeseed honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup dried apricots, diced
How to prepare honey granola?
Preheat the oven to 150 °C. In a large bowl, combine the oats, pistachios, salt, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add the honey and olive oil and mix well. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the muesli onto it. Place in the oven for about 40 minutes, stirring halfway through. Leave to cool for about 30 minutes, then store in an airtight container for up to two weeks (although it will probably be gone much sooner).
