It is indisputable that all natural honeys crystallise - it is a sign of their living structure and their authenticity. Crystallisation time varies for different types of honey - honeys with a high fructose content will crystallise for a long time - e.g. acacia honey even up to about 1 year from the bottling date, but most available types of honey in Poland are high- glucose honeys and their domain is quite fast and strong crystallisation. For example, mature rapeseed honey can crystallise even the day after its harvest!

2. Placing the honey on a radiator
Many users of natural honeys struggle with this problem and look for ways to pleasantly and easily apply this bee product, therefore below we present several home methods for decrystallising honey to obtain liquid honey.
1. Warm water bath
The most popular is a warm water bath - bearing in mind that the water temperature should not exceed 38-40 degrees Celsius. Usually, 1 degree of adjustment on the stove is enough to maintain the mentioned temperature - if we have doubts, a kitchen thermometer will be helpful.
2. Placing the honey on a radiator
Another way is to take advantage of the heating season and place the honey on a radiator - it does not generate high temperatures, and its steady heat will cause the honey to soften, or even its full decrystallisation while preserving its health properties.
3. Electric oven
Taking advantage of technological benefits, you can also use an electric oven for decrystallisation- most of them have quite accurate adjustment even from 20-30 degrees Celsius and leaving the honey for a few hours will also result in a change in the state of matter of the honey. Some models even already have such an option in the electronic programmer.
4. Dishwasher
Another of the technological novelties found in almost every kitchen now is the dishwasher, whose washing programmes last several hours using warm water - so let's put the honey in the dishwasher along with the dishes, choosing a programme with a temperature up to 40 degrees Celsius and as long as possible, remembering to tighten the jar lid carefully and leave it in an upright position. If possible, refrain from using chemical detergents then.
5. Bottle warmer
Young parents, as well as carers of toddlers who bottle-feed their children, often have a bottle warmer, which can also be used as a device that will turn solid honey into runny honey by placing the jar inside the device and choosing a temperature of 38-40 degrees to achieve the intended effect.
Decrystallisation of natural honeys will be safe and we will preserve its health properties if we do not exceed the mentioned 40 degrees Celsius. At temperatures above this limit, honey will lose its living structure, micro and macro elements and other valuable values characteristic of living honeys.
