Why do we offer our mushrooms in a tightly sealed jar?
To ensure that dried mushrooms do not lose their intense aroma, they should be sealed in an airtight container. The choice of container in which we store dried mushrooms is very important. It should be metal, glass or enamelled. This will also prevent food moths and allow for the preservation of the mushrooms' flavour values for as long as possible.
Therefore our airtight glass jars are well-suited for storing dried mushrooms. The jar with dried mushrooms should be placed in a dark and dry place, ideally at room temperature. Moisture, high temperature, air and light cause dried mushrooms to lose their taste and aroma. It is not recommended to store dried mushrooms in paper or foil bags. They will quickly lose their flavour and may become mouldy.
Dried mushrooms with a net weight of 50g are placed in a jar with a capacity of 815 ml. Due to differences in the volume of the dried product and to ensure that the mushroom retains its shape and does not break when being placed in the jar or during transport, there may be excess space in the packaging, which of course does not affect the net content of the product.
Dried mushrooms - certified and checked by a certified mushroom expert.
By purchasing our mushrooms, you can be sure of their origin and that they have been properly chosen and selected. Our mushrooms are marked with a certificate and the number of a certified mushroom expert. This allows you to peacefully enjoy the healthy flavour values of our mushrooms.
The drying temperature of the mushrooms is approx. 45 deg. C.
